Shriver House On-Line Museum Shop Now Open

The Shriver House Museum is pleased to announce the opening of its on-line store featuring Gettysburg and Civil War related items.

Beautiful prints by nationally-recognized artist Heide Presse depict Sadie and Mollie Shriver sharing tea in their bedroom and playing in the garden. Renowned portrait artist, Amy Lindenberger, who works in colored pencil, has produced a wonderful series of card and prints on the Shriver family.

Broken-china jewelry (some made of Blue Willow), Victorian “bling”, post cards, candles, Christmas ornaments, tavern puzzles and more will ensure you find just the right keepsake.

Our book selection focuses not on the fighting at Gettysburg but on the civilian aspects of the battle. Our most popular books are The Shriver's Story - Eyewitnesses to the Battle of Gettysburg and What A Girl Saw and Heard of the Battle by Tillie Pierce. We carry several first-hand accounts of the conflict by local citizens in addition to a variety of books describing the aftermath and efforts to clean up after the battle. Other topics range from Victorian etiquette to clothing, toys, herbs and laundry practices of the period.
The Museum shop offers a variety of artwork, toys, cards, books, and more. Your purchases help support the continued preservation and operation of the Shriver House Museum. New items are added all the time.
